HR for the Gulf: A Nepali HR Professional in Doha

A Nepali HR professional working in Doha, Qatar shares practical HR experience for professionals and employers connecting Nepal and the Gulf.

Working in HR in Doha

I currently work as HR and Admin Officer at Pigeon Engineering Projects in Doha, Qatar. My responsibilities include onboarding, personnel file management, attendance and leave administration, recruitment and manpower documentation, visa and joining formalities, and coordination with operations and project teams. I am also the lead coordinator for the company's HR and operations management system.

From Nepal to the Gulf

I began my HR career in Nepal and moved to Qatar in my current role. That journey has shown me how much good documentation, clear processes and honest communication matter when people move between countries and workplaces.
